Brunch: Kamayan Afternoon Tea by Kora
Learn More |
Ever since launching Kora, the Filipino bakery that began in chef Kimberly Camara’s apartment during the pandemic, Camara and her partner Kevin Borja have garnered a cult following for their colorful fried brioche doughnuts and other pastries inspired by Kimberly’s heirloom recipes. As an online-only business, Kora amassed a waitlist of over 10,000 people in its first year. Now, as they transition into their first brick-and-mortar, Kora is bringing their new sweet and savory concept to Platform with a Filipino-inspired Kamayan afternoon tea. Known for being the ultimate Filipino communal-style feast, Kamayan is the traditional Filipino method of eating with bare hands. Chef Kimberly and Kevin are creating a bevy of sweet and savory pastries and snacks served alongside curated Filipino cocktails and traditional Philippine tisanes and coffee. Come for an unforgettable culinary experience that celebrates the richness of Filipino culture the Kora way.
