Slice Out Hunger $1 Pizza Party
Slice Out Hunger’s annual $1 pizza party is returning to New York City on April 18! Founded by pizza expert Scott Wiener (and the founder of Scott’s Pizza Tours), Slice Out Hunger is a NYC-based nonprofit on a mission to build communities through pizza power. With dozens of NYC’s best pizzerias participating including Di Fara, Lucali, John’s of Bleecker Street and more, this event is not just about enjoying delicious pizza - it’s about making a real difference in the lives of those facing food insecurity. Proceeds from the event support Slice Out Hunger’s Pie It Forward program, which sends pizza deliveries to hunger relief organizations across the city.
What: NYC’s annual pizza party, hosted by Slice Out Hunger. Who: Dozens of NYC’s best pizzerias, including Di Fara, Lucali, and John’s of Bleecker Street, along with sponsors like Slice, Liberty Coke, and Ooni Pizza Ovens. When: Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 6 pm until pizza runs out. Where: St. Anthony’s Church at 155 Sullivan St. (@Houston St.) in SoHo, NYC Why: Proceeds support Slice Out Hunger’s Pie It Forward program, which sends pizza deliveries to hunger relief organizations. How: Attendees purchase $1 tickets on-site to each be exchanged for a slice, a drink, a dessert, or a raffle entry. The only advance ticket option is a skip-the-line VIP pass ($100 for one person, $150 for two people), available at sliceouthunger.org/dollar-pizza-party-nyc.
