Over the past few years, thousands upon thousands of players have tested their mettle in real life escape rooms, and now, thanks to NYC Haunt Holdings, LLC, NYC audiences are invited to take part in a live-action experience in which they are locked in a room and have to solve a series of clues to find the keys that get you out. There are two inaugural rooms: One is "House Arrest," in which, along with several roommates/fellow puzzlers are trapped in what feels like your typical NYC apartment: a cramped urban dwelling in which you have only an hour get out. The other room ("Project: Puppet"), traps theatregoers in a locked room teeming with puppets - some there to help you, others: not so much.
