Newly crowned 2011 Stanley Cup® Champions Zdeno Chara, Tim Thomas and Patrice Bergeron of the Boston Bruins® will be guests on NBC’s “Today” Show on Friday, June 17, 2011, bringing along a special guest – the Stanley Cup.

Following their 8:30 a.m. ET chat with Ann Curry, Lester Holt and Savannah Guthrie in Rockefeller Plaza, the champs will make their way to the NHL® Powered by Reebok Store on the corner of West 47th St. and 6th Ave. for a special Q&A session, hosted by the NHL Network™. 

Q&A SESSION AT THE “NHL POWERED BY REEBOK” STORE

WHO: ZDENO CHARA, Boston Bruins captain; TIM THOMAS, Boston Bruins goalie & Conn Smythe trophy winner;PATRICE BERGERON, Boston Bruins alternate captain 

WHAT: Special Q&A session with the 2011 Stanley Cup Champions, hosted by the NHL Network’s E.J. Hradek

Fans in attendance at the event will be able to submit questions for consideration at the NHL Store. Questions also will be accepted via Twitter (@NHL) between the hours of 7:00-9:00 a.m. on Friday, June 17. Answers to questions submitted via Twitter will be posted to the @NHL account post-event.

WHEN: Friday, June 17, 2011, 9:30 a.m. – 10 a.m. ET

WHERE: NHL® POWERED BY REEBOK STORE, 1185 Sixth Avenue Between 46th and 47th Streets

NOTE: Unfortunately no merchandise or memorabilia will be signed. Player availability is subject to change.
