Ed Sheeran Debuts at Madame Tussauds New York

International music superstar Ed Sheeran is the newest addition to the legendary collection of Madame Tussauds New York's impeccable wax figures. The unveiling event in Times Square, featuring Mr. Sheeran himself, celebrated Sheeran’s recent sold out concerts in New York and New Jersey.

“We are thrilled to welcome the incomparable Ed Sheeran as our newest wax figure at Madame Tussauds New York,” said Bret Pidgeon, General Manager Madame Tussauds. “His music is adored by fans across the world and we look forward to offering our visitors the opportunity to engage with such a gifted musician and performer.”

Ed Sheeran worked closely with the Madame Tussauds team, who spent hours sitting with the star taking over 250 measurements, identifying exact eye color, and detailing each strand of hair. The figure, which is the first time the star has been immortalized in wax by Madame Tussauds, features every intricate detail, including each of his colorful tattoos and a few childhood scars. Ed generously donated the figure’s attire and a Martin & Co. guitar and guitar strap.
