Last Chance to see Against the Odds at The Museum of Jewish Heritage

Now through Feb. 15, it’s your last chance to see the exhibit Against the Odds: American Jews & The Rescue of Europe’s Refugees, 1933-1941, at the Museum of Jewish Heritage — A Living Memorial to the Holocaust.

Called “wrenching and elegant” by the Wall Street Journal, the exhibit focuses on the years between 1933-1941, when thousands of Jews in flight from Nazi persecution sought haven in the United States, reaching out to relatives, friends, and even strangers. Against the Odds tells the story of American Jews who answered their call for help. Working within the constraints of American laws that strictly limited immigration, these generous individuals overcame tremendous obstacles to help many of the refugees reach safety.

The exhibit is designed by C&G Partners and has been nominated for several design awards including the International Design Excellence Award, SEGD, New York Design Award, and the Core77 award. For more information, visit mjhnyc.org.
