Recent rivals at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks are about to face off again, this time on the streets of Manhattan. The reigning Stanley Cup Champions will challenge each other to a live trick shot competition and a rematch on the virtual ice to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the world’s leading hockey video game franchise, EA SPORTS NHL, and the launch of the latest game, NHL 11, at the NHL Powered by Reebok store (1185 Sixth Ave. at 47th St., 212-221-6375; nhlstore.nhl.com) on Wednesday, Sept. 8th, 2010. The first 100 fans to purchase NHL 11 from the NHL Powered By Reebok store also will have the opportunity to have their game autographed by Toews and Kane.
The schedule is as follows: 2:30pm-3pm - Toews vs. Kane trick shot competition on 47th St. & Sixth Ave. 3pm-3:30pm - Toews & Kane autograph session in store. Please note: The first 100 fans to purchase NHL 11 when it goes on sale (10/7/10) at the NHL Powered by Reebok store will obtain a wristband to secure an opportunity to have the game autographed by Kane and Toews at this event. No autographs outside of these 100 can be guaranteed.
