AIR SUPPLY - B.B. King Blues Club & Grill
October 13, 2012 - New York

Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock first met in 1975 on the first day of rehearsals for Jesus Christ Superstar in Sydney, Australia. Bonding over their common love of singing and The Beatles, they became fast friends and cut a single in one afternoon. The song immediately shot to No. 1 on the national charts, and Air Supply was born! After releasing several albums, the duo cut Life Support (1979), whose single "Lost in Love" rocketed into the Top 10 in Australia and somehow found its way to music industry executive Clive Davis in New York. He immediately signed the duo to Arista Records, and in 1980, "Lost in Love" became the fastest-selling single in the world and was named Song of the Year. The duo's second single "All Out of Love" ascended the charts even faster. Air Supply has consistently captivated audiences around the world with its live shows and continues to do so today. In 2010, Russell and Hitchcock released their long-awaited latest album Mumbo Jumbo, which featured the hit "Dance with Me." Second show at 10pm.

October 20, 2012 - NY

The Grammy winning, former prodigy instrumentalist, who topped the Billboard New Artist chart with his first album at age 15, stands now as a mature creative force, made more sensitive yet also toughened by life's adventures. He's learned what it means to rise above hard times and to find meaning where chaos seemed to rule. His new CD, "Turn Around" proves that, unlike many one-time wunderkind performers, Jonny Lang has grown to exceed the expectations that heralded his ascendance. Produced by Ron Fair (Black Eyed Peas, Mary J. Blige, Counting Crows), energized through collaboration with songwriter/performers Drew Ramsey and Shannon Sanders, anchored and elevated by former Prince NPG rhythm dynamo Michael Bland, Turn Around is Lang's fifth album - but it's also the first of what will become his most moving and enduring works.
