February 29, 2012 - by CG News Desk

Dalton M. Dale, Artistic Director of Big Dreamer Productions, is moving into the mainstream with his frightful brand of theatre. Mr. Dale, who is not yet old enough to rent a car, has just been named Artistic Director of Times Scare NYC: the haunted entertainment complex located in Times Square, New York (corner of 42nd St. & 8th Ave., 212-586-7829; timesscarenyc.com).

As Artistic Director, he promises to create world class entertainment that is sure to leave you sleepless with nightmares for weeks to come. Utilizing his brand new style of theatre - known as Extra Sensory Production - the audience will not only Hear and See his productions but they will Smell and Feel the FEAR! His inaugural Off-Broadway Production at Times Scare, which boasts a state-of-the-art 200-seat theatre, is known as The Deathly Ones. It is conceived, designed and directed by Mr. Dale. Billed as Off-Broadway’s “First 4-D Horror Experience”, it is a 90-minute journey into the heart of evil. What happens when man’s technology becomes so powerful that man no longer uses science, but science uses man? Following a maniacal genius on his race to create the perfect vessel in which to resurrect his dead family, the horror unfolds as his final experiment goes horribly awry, and he resurrects the vilest spirits that ever walked this earth. The Deathly Ones is a world premiere production by acclaimed playwright Alan Haehnel, based on his sci-fi thriller “Property Rites.” The show is scheduled to open on Friday, April 13, 2012.
