West Village Musical Theatre Festival Returns June 19

The West Village Musical Theatre Festival — the country's largest short-form musical theater festival — returns to NYC's Players Theatre, with performances beginning June 19 and finishing 100 shows (!) later on June 29. Currently in its fourth year, the Festival will host 28 brand new original 15-minute musicals, broken up into five series, each containing 5-6 short musicals. The festivities will be emceed by noted Sammy Davis, Jr. impersonator Solomon Kee.

The 2014 Opening Gala and Preview Concert, open to all festival members and attendees, will be on Sunday, June 15 from 7-11:30pm at Toshi's Living Room in the Flatiron Hotel (9 W. 26th St.).

The 2014 Westie Awards Ceremony will take place on Sunday, June 29 after the final curtain, where they will announce the winners of the 2014 WVMTF, determined by the vote of each attending audience.

Tickets are now on sale here. Advance tickets are available  for only $25 ($20 for students and seniors with I.D). Tickets will also be available at the box office for $30 on the day of show. The Players Theatre is located in Greenwich Village at 115 MacDougal Street (3rd-Bleecker Sts.). Note: Please do be careful when selecting tickets, as EACH SHOW ONLY PERFORMS IN THEIR ASSIGNED SERIES & TIME SLOT!! Each musical is listed below in their series below for reference.
