Where to Shop for New York Fashion Week 2017

Fashion Month only comes twice a year, but between the pre-show anticipation and post-show digests, it feels a lot longer. There’s a myriad of ways to get into the NYFW swing in 2017. Watch the shows in person, live-stream ‘em (as so many brands do these days) or just catch a glimpse of the street style parade on the streets of Manhattan. Dress the part too, and sport something by one of our favorite NYC designers. Read on to discover some of the key pieces to wear all fashion month long.

Phillip Lim Bag

1.) There’s good reason Phillip Lim dubbed this bag the 31 Hour. It’s inspired by the name of his eponymous label 3.1 Phillip Lim as well as the amount of hours the creatives who sport his ready-to-wear and accessories manage to squeeze out of the day. We love the edgy mix of leather and camo-printed canvas.

 Alice + Olivia

2.) Consistently a NYFW favorite, Alice + Olivia manages to inject some fun to the week. Case in point: these adorable, beach motif printed sneakers. They’re ideal for trekking around town now, and all spring long.

Marc Jacobs

3.) Marc Jacobs always manages to close out NYFW with a bang—he practically owns the last slot of the week in the calendar. We’re certain this year will be no exception. This hand painted, airbrushed bomber is a current collection standout. It’s the ideal transitional jacket for the months ahead.

 Monse

4.) It’s a major season for Monse, the co-creative directors will be showing their collection as well as making their debut at Oscar de la Renta. Shirting continues to be the label’s signature, and this asymmetric silk top is a wardrobe workhorse, easily going from day to night.

 Zac Posen

5.) Sometimes the best way to support your favorite designer is to say it in writing. This cozy Zac Posen sweatshirt does the job and is an easy piece to pair with denim for weekdays, weekends and anytime in-between.

 Ralph Lauren

6.) At the forefront of the see-now, buy-now phenomenon taking over fashion week is Ralph Lauren. Last season the designer took over Madison Avenue as his runway and promptly sold the collection moments after. We adore this cashmere blend poncho that embraces Lauren’s Americana aesthetic with an ultra-luxe vibe.
