Today is September 6th, and Fashion’s Night Out is being celebrated across the country in 10 cities. Now in its fourth year, join editors, stars, models, fashionistas, and designers as they flood stores for fashion's biggest annual shopping event.

Last year's bash featured events in 18 countries and more than 4,500 events here in the States. FNO 2012 will be a night to remember, with the Empire State Building lit in signature red to mark the occasion.

The iconic shopping mecca Macy’s is rolling out the red carpet for an evening of special events, celebrity and designer appearances and giveaways galore – plus plenty more surprises in store! Dress to impress and get to Macy’s at 6pm. Shop through the evening til 11pm. www.macys.com

Also, at Rockefeller Center, Onassis, L’Occitane and Botticelli are getting in on the celebration. At Onassis, shoppers can sip champagne, receive a 15% store discount on menswear and receive a free gift. The celebration continues til 11pm. The Provence-based company L’Occitane will be pampering its customers with hand massages, bubbly treats and giving away special gifts with purchases of $65.
