The legends of music have all come out to perform and celebrate the 10-Year Anniversary of B.B. King Blues Club & Grill (237 W. 42nd St., 212-997-4144; www.bbkingblues.com) in Times Square, New York City.
With a stunning performance on June 3rd by Patti LaBelle featuring a surprise appearance by friend Roberta Flack, an impromptu onstage duet on June 16th featuring the amazing Prince on guitar with Sly & the Family Stone bass legend Larry Graham & Graham Central Station, as well as new bookings Al Green on September 2nd, Clarence Clemons on August 4th, and Chuck Berry set to take the stage Friday, June 25th - this party is well underway!
The King of Blues himself, B. B. King, had this to say about the NYC institution: "I'm so thrilled to be celebrating our 10th anniversary of my Times Square Club. I wish I could be there to celebrate this special event with you all, but I am currently on tour out of the country. Happy 10th!"
