Off-Broadway's How to Be a New Yorker Now at Planet Hollywood Times Square


Off-Broadway’s sellout sensation How to Be a New Yorker is moving to Times Square's newest theater, The Screening Room Theater at Planet Hollywood Times Square, with performances beginning this Friday, September 20th.

The Planet Hollywood edition of How to Be a New Yorker will introduce a bounty of new material including the debut of its hilarious new sketch, “Real Housewives of the Upper East Side.” How to Be a New Yorker delivers a laugh-filled tour around the greatest city in the world with actors, comedians and licensed tour guides Ms. Copeland and Mr. Doyle as they play over 70 characters. Under the direction of OBIE Award winner Robert Ross Parker, this “Saturday Night Live” style comedy features a hilarious look at NYC's 400-year history. Immigrants, construction workers, muggers, Wall Street bankers, panhandlers, MTA workers, and Mayor Bloomberg all get a solid lampooning! It doesn't matter if you were born on the Upper West Side or just took your first terrifying cab ride, you will love learning How to Be a New Yorker.
 
The playing schedule for How to Be a New Yorker at The Screening Room Theater at Planet Hollywood Times Square (1540 Broadway) is Fridays at 7pm and Saturdays at 1:30 & 7pm. The entrance is located on 45th Street just east of Broadway.
