August 20th: National Lemonade Day at David Burke's Restaurants
On National Lemonade Day, Friday, August 20th, chef David Burke will celebrate the Dog Days of Summer at his restaurants. From 11am-3pm, Burke will set up lemonade stands outside of David Burke Townhouse, Fishtail and David Burke at Bloomingdale's. All proceeds will be donated to the National Animal Rescue through Celebrity Catwalk (http://www.celebritycatwalk.com).
The stands and restaurants will serve homemade lemonade for just $1 and a complimentary lemon macaroon will be offered with each lemonade purchase. Lemonade flavors will include: sugar beet, blueberry pie and Jersey lemonade (in honor of David's home state!).
David's lemonade will also be available at Giannillo The Salon, a high-end hair salon located around the corner from David Burke Townhouse, and at the DOG store, a high-end Upper East Side dog groomer that will offer complimentary teeth-brushing and hot oil treatments to pups.
