California of the 50's and 60's was home to jazz artists with a new cool sound. At the Lighthouse and the Haig, musicians like Gerry Mulligan, Chet Baker and Hampton Hawes turned up the heat. Featuring: Bill Charlap, piano; Michael Mossman, trumpet; Jimmy Greene, tenor sax; Jon Gordon, alto sax; Michael Dease, trombone; Gary Smulyan, baritone sax; Ted Rosenthal, piano; Sean Smith, bass; Rodney Green, drums.

Venue Description: Located on the Upper West Side, the 92nd Street Y is NYC's hub for lectures, talks, readings, literary events, classes, Jewish programs, food and wine tastings, and more. They also offer live music, dance performances, and more including the Art of the Guitar, the $5 Fridays at Noon dance series, and social events.
