Wild, Wild Wolves at American Museum of Natural History

Meet Atka, an Arctic gray wolf from the Wolf Conservation Center (WCC) in South Salem, New York, on his visit to the Museum. Learn about wolves, highly endangered predators that play a vital role in sustaining a healthy ecosystem. WCC staff will discuss the organization's participation in a program to reintroduce wolves into their traditional ranges in the western United States. Also at 1pm and 2:30pm.
Venue Description: A museum for the 21st century, with a rich and storied past and one of the greatest natural history museums in the world, with over 40 exhibition halls. Open daily from 10am to 5:45pm except on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
