First Fridays! in collaboration with Carnegie Hall’s Neighborhood Concerts: MATUTO Join us for the uplifting beat of Matuto, presented in collaboration with Carnegie Hall’s Neighborhood Concert Series. Drawing on Brazilian folk forms like forró, maracatu, and coco, as well as American bluegrass, spirituals, and swampy Louisiana jams, Matuto’s unique and energetic sound celebrates diverse musical cultures. Free guided tours of the galleries from 6pm to 8pm and an art-making workshop throughout the event.
