The whole family will learn about the holiday of Kwanzaa, discovering the principles of the Nguzo Saba in an exclusive presentation of holiday traditions as practiced by the Harris Family, who have been celebrating Kwanzaa for 25 years.

Kids will learn how to stay warm in winter. They'll learn about amazing animal adaptations from the Museum's collections, then use chemistry to generate heat and make fake snow.

Kids hear holiday stories and share their warm thoughts during this cold season by creating greeting cards to send to family and friends.

Join dancer Iris Wilson as she leads a dance workshop in celebration of Kwanzaa.
