Sanda Weigl is a performer immersed in the musical tradition of Weimar cabaret. The niece of Bertolt Brecht, she trained as a teenager with Brecht's widow. She returns to Cafe Sabarsky with a program of Weimar-era music ranging from rustic Gypsy tunes to sophisticated and ironic songs from Paris, Vienna, and Berlin.
