Founded by Sir Georg Solti, the World Orchestra for Peace comprises principals and section players from the various orchestras with which this legendary conductor had an association. On this concert, the orchestra, led by Valery Gergiev, celebrates Solti's centenary with Lady Solti, alumni of the Solti Accademia and Solti Foundation US, and bass Rene Pape.

Venue Description: One of the most famous performance spaces in the world, and where the biggest orchestras in the world play when they come to New York City. They also offer neighborhood concerts throughout the year, tours of the historic halls, music programming, festivals, and more.
