The Silk Road Ensemble and Artistic Director Yo-Yo Ma return to Carnegie Hall in celebration of its 15th anniversary with a program including the New York premieres of John Zorn's Suite from Book of Angels, Vijay Iyer's Playlist for an Extreme Occasion, and David Bruce's Cut the Rug, as well as performances of past Ensemble favorites: Angel Lam's Empty Mountain, Spirit Rain; Giovanni Sollima's The Taranta Project; and Jia Daqun's The Prospect of Colored Desert.

Venue Description: One of the most famous performance spaces in the world, and where the biggest orchestras in the world play when they come to New York City. They also offer neighborhood concerts throughout the year, tours of the historic halls, music programming, festivals, and more.
