Shen Yun, the performing arts company taking the world by storm, now brings you a unique musical experience: The Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra. The orchestra combines the exquisite beauty of Chinese music with the precision and grandeur of the Western symphony orchestra. It is the world’s only orchestra that has both classical Western and Chinese instruments as its permanent members. Alongside Western brass, woodwinds, and strings are traditional Chinese instruments like the 4,000-year-old erhu, the plucked pipa, and a range of percussion instruments. The program features all-original music from the world-renowned Shen Yun production, classics from Berlioz and Dvorák, instrumental soloists, and Shen Yun’s acclaimed sopranos and tenors.

Venue Description: One of the most famous performance spaces in the world, and where the biggest orchestras in the world play when they come to New York City. They also offer neighborhood concerts throughout the year, tours of the historic halls, music programming, festivals, and more.
