Venue Description: The Children's Museum of the Arts, founded in October 1988, and voted "Most Kid-Friendly Art Museum" by Time Out New York Kids' NYC Parents Award, is one of the oldest children's art museums in the world. Celebrating and sculpting the creative soul in every child by encouraging self-expression and self-esteem with the visual and performing arts and hands-on art programs, here young imagination comes alive. The Children's Museum of the Arts is located at 182 Lafayette Street, New York and is open Wednesday through Sunday 12pm-5pm and Thursdays 12pm-6pm. Admission is $10 per person (aged 1-65 years), and on Thursdays 4-6pm is special ?pay as you wish? admission price. The CMA is wheelchair accessible.
