On April 10, 2013, Education Through Music (ETM) will hold its annual Children’s Benefit Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York. This year’s ETM Gala will honor Richard Bernstein, the Vice Chairman of commercial real estate firm Cassidy Turley, and a passionate advocate for music in schools. The Gala will help to raise support for Education Through Music’s New York City Partner School Program.
ETM partners with inner-city schools to provide all students with music as a core subject, and to create school communities that value the arts. ETM’s mission is to promote the use of music in schools as a means of enhancing students’ academic performance and general development. The ETM model currently serves over 14,000 students in 28 partner schools in New York City, and reaches an additional 8,000 students nationwide through the work of our licensed affiliate organizations: ETM-Los Angles and ETM-Bay Area. Please join ETM to support this important cause. Cocktails will begin at 6:30PM and will be followed at 7:30PM by dinner and dancing. Christine Baranski will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the evening. The 2013 ETM Gala will also feature performances by students from ETM partner schools, Grammy-Award winning violinist Joshua Bell, and additional entertainment.
