29-11-2011 12:00:00 29-11-2011 12:00:00 America/New_York Citi Pond at Bryant Park Hosts Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony with Sarah McLachlan Nov. 29 | 7 p.m. On the evening of Tuesday, November 29, Citi Pond at Bryant Park will host its highly anticipated ANNUAL TREE LIGHTING ceremony bringing together top musical talent, for the community to enjoy free of charge! This year’s ceremony will feature Grammy Award–winning singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan. Joining McLachlan will be performances from hit Broadways Musicals, breathtaking routines from Olympic Skaters, awe-inspiring synchronized skating routines and more! The hour-long ceremony, beginning at 7 p.m., will lead up to the lighting of the 50-foot tree filled with over 3000 ornaments and thousands of LED lights. The tree will remain lit through Jan. 8, 2012.
