There’s something spicy happening at Havana Central Times Square!

Check out the restaurant’s live music program every night between Wednesday and Sunday for a special treat you will not forget. Frequent performers and fan favorites such as Ochún, a traditional Cuban salsa band led by Miguel Garcia, are sure to get you moving!

Ochún, whose third album Guarachando was nominated for a 2012 Latin Grammy Award for “Best Traditional Tropical Album,” will be playing at Havana Central Times Square this month on December 14, 15, 21 and 22 from 9 to 12 pm. Additionally, the band will play a special show on New Year’s Eve, December 31, from 9:30-12:30 pm.

HAVANA CENTRAL The brainchild of entrepreneur Jeremy Merrin, Havana Central evokes the 1950s golden era of Cuba, capturing Havana’s heyday as the world’s most tantalizing playground. Through its festive ambiance, vibrant décor and mouth-watering food, dining at Havana Central is like taking a mini vacation. Corporate Chef Stanley Licairac’s traditional dishes like Vaca Frita, Ropa Vieja and Stuffed Cuban Sandwich are an unmistakable celebration of Cuban cuisine. The cocktail list includes the best Mojitos and Sangrias in New York; the wine list is filled with exceptional finds from Latin America, Spain and Portugal. The first Havana Central was opened over 10 years ago in New York’s Union Square neighborhood. Now, the premier large-format Latin restaurant chain has four high-volume locations in the New York metropolitan area and plans to expand into additional markets in the near future. Hours and menus vary by location.
