Visit the Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art for a free Mask Making art workshop. Children of all ages are welcome to partcipate. The workshop will be free to all museum visitors. In the clutures of the Himalayas, masks are used for a verity of ritual purposes, The Museum's collection features colorful maks used in ritual dances. With the Museum's staff, participants wil create their own peaceful or wrathful dance mask. They will also learn about the rich artistic traditions of the Himalays.

Venue Description: Located on Lighthouse Hill in Staten Island, the Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art presents exhibition, programs, and more concerning the art and culture of Tibet and the Himalayas. Open Wed.-Sun., 1-5pm.
