Breiding & Wasson: Armor - Dressing in Steel (and your little horse, too) at Metropolitan Museum of Art

Dirk Breiding, Assistant Curator, Department of Arms and Armor; Jeffrey D. Wasson, Armorer. Explore many of the fascinating aspects of European armor from about 1400 to 1750. An exciting live demonstration of armor-making is followed by a multimedia talk on how armor worked, and on which occasions it would be worn by boys and men (and sometimes even women). 3pm.
