Iraj Anvar, cofounder and director, Tehran Theater Workshop, and Visiting Lecturer in Modern Persian, Center for Language Studies, Brown University; Ted and Andree Feghali Gorton, authors. Revel in the beauty, longing, and passion that can be expressed in the spoken word through discussion and readings of Arab and Persian love poetry. This event is presented with the opening of the New Galleries for the Art of the Arab Lands, Turkey, Iran, Central Asia, and Later South Asia. 7pm.

Venue Description: Sun.-Thurs., 10am-5:30pm; Fri.-Sat., 10am-9pm. Recommended admission: $25.
