Conductor Jane Glover makes her Met debut leading the abridged, English-language holiday presentation of The Magic Flute. This family-friendly production by Julie Taymor runs 100 minutes and is designed to appeal to audiences of all ages. Featuring Alex Shrader as Tamino, Nathan Gunn as Papageno, Eric Owens as the high priest Sarastro, Heidi Stobe as Princess Pamina, and Albina Shagimuratova and Kathryn Lewek as the wicked Queen of the Night, this spellbinding production is sure to please.
