Welcome summer at this year's multicultural outdoor festival overlooking the Hudson River. The day will include a family concert featuring popular kiddie rocker and Grammy nominee Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could, and interactive performances by Native American hoop dancer Marie McKinney-Ponce, and Play Me a Story. Families are also invited to take part in lawn games, arts and nature activities. The Almost Summer Celebration will take place at Robert F. Wagner, Jr., Park, adjacent to the Museum of Jewish Heritage. Crafts, storytelling, dance performances, and games will take place from 11 a.m. and go until 2 p.m. Brady Rymer and his band will perform two sets, at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. Admission is free and picnicking is encouraged. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. In case of rain, the event will be held in the Museum. Due to limited capacity, tickets will be released on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 10 a.m.
