Featuring Julia Bullock as the Vixen, Aubrey Allicock as the Forester, Karen Vuong as the Fox, Lacey Jo Benter as the Forester's Wife, Elizabeth Sutphen as the Owl, Martin Bakari as the Schoolmaster, Hyunho Yoo as the Mosquito, Önay Köse as the Priest/Badger, Elliott Hines as the Innkeeper, Rachael Wilson as the Innkeeper's Wife/Chorus Hen, Raquel González as the Rooster, Lilla Heinrich Szász as the Jay, Mary Feminear as the Lead Hen, Lara Secord-Haid as the Woodpecker/Chorus Hen, John Brancy as Harašta, Laura Mixter as the Dog, Laura LeVoir as the Grasshopper, Kara Sainz as the Cricket, Angela Vallone as the Young Vixen, Qingyu Chen as the Young Frog/Joey (Pepik), and William McGregor as Frank (Frantik). Inspired by a comic strip and premiered in 1924, Leos Janácek and librettist Rudolf Tesnohlidek's The Cunning Little Vixen is an endearing and enlightened glance at the circle of life amongst a cast of woodland characters set in the fairy tale-esque Moravian forest.
