Specializing in the 20th century's "classic" repertoire and conducted by acclaimed American conductor Jeffrey Milarsky, Juilliard's critically-acclaimed contemporary music ensemble AXIOM opens its season with two works by American composer and Juilliard alumnus Jacob Druckman, and the world premiere of the 2013 version of American composer Morton Subotnick's Jacob's Room.
