Ever wonder what happens to the food scraps collected at Greenmarket drop-off sites? Join Queens Botanical Garden staff at the Farm to learn the art and science of community-based composting. Together, we'll mix up a new batch of compost with 10,000 pounds of food scraps. Snacks will be provided but please bring lunch. Email Melissa Young from Bellerose Community Composter's to sign up:

Venue Description: The 47-acre site includes historic farm buildings, a greenhouse complex, livestock, farm vehicles and implements, planting fields, an orchard and herb garden.
