Eisa Davis, playwright/singer/songwriter/actor, and Symphony Space Artist-in-Residence, takes a Zora Neale Hurston-like character on a journey from the heyday of the Harlem Renaissance to today, and into the future, in her new music-theater work, Flowers Are Sleeping, commissioned by Symphony Space.

Venue Description: Located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, Symphony Space offers a wide range of performing arts events ranging for literary and comedic talks to live opera and classical performances. They offer many popular series, including the Thalia Book & Film Clubs, Just Kidding, Selected Shorts, Uptown Showdown, and more.
