New York City's own Lesbian & Gay Big Apple Corps Symphonic Band returns to Symphony Space, on Friday the 13th no less, to celebrate the holidays with Spirit of the Season. This fun and lively program features works by acclaimed composers John Williams, Camille Saint-Saens and Irving Berlin, as well as those beloved holiday standards Jingle Bells, The Twelve Days of Christmas and Danny Elfman's bone-chilling film favorite The Nightmare Before Christmas. Leading the ensemble and making her NYC conducting debut is the LGBAC's new Symphonic Band Artistic Director Kelly Watkins.

Venue Description: Located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, Symphony Space offers a wide range of performing arts events ranging for literary and comedic talks to live opera and classical performances. They offer many popular series, including the Thalia Book & Film Clubs, Just Kidding, Selected Shorts, Uptown Showdown, and more.
