This series, brought to you by the DUMBO Improvement District & The Lighthouse, showcases the best of DUMBO and Brooklyn talent, presenting an eclectic, dynamic range of music and performance genres over 17 weeks, including sizzling salsa, Colombian cumbia, modern dance from Italy, Afrobeat, swing dancing, flamenco, a special reunion by a Japanese DUMBO pop band and more. New this year, the ARTIST INTERACTIVE invites the public to engage with a different DUMBO-based artist each week, through a pop-up gallery, "The Space Station," and through a live art component where the artist and public create a collaborative piece together over the course of three hours. The Artist Interactive is presented in collaboration with This Friday or Next Friday, an art gallery in DUMBO run by artists Nathan Sinai Rayman and Zach Seeger. Live at the Archway is always all ages, and always rain or shine (which works because we're under the Manhattan Bridge!) Headlining acts play at 6:30pm. The Archway under the Manhattan Bridge is a public plaza on Water Street between Adams Street and Anchorage Place in DUMBO. * Hot Sardines 6:30pm
* Swing class with Paolo Pasta Lana To open at 6:00pm
* Artist Interactive at the Space Station: Pop up gallery + live art experience with Natchie All night

Fueled by the belief that classic jazz feeds the heart and soul, the Hot Sardines are on a mission to make old sounds new again and prove that joyful music can bring people together in a disconnected world. Music first made famous decades ago comes alive through the group’s brassy horn arrangements, rollicking piano melodies, and vocals from a chanteuse who transports listeners to a different era. In the last two years, the Hot Sardines have been featured at the Newport Jazz Festival and the Montreal Jazz Festival, have sold out New York City venues from Joe’s Pub to the Bowery Ballroom, performed more than 150 tour dates from Chicago to London, and have also released two albums on Universal Music Classics to critical raves, earning a No. 1 slot on the iTunes Jazz chart in the U.S. and internationally.
