The Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art is pleased to host a lecture by Tulku Jamyang Rinpoche on Saturday, December 3rd, 2011 at 1:00 PM. Tulku Jamyang was born in the Himalayas in 1977 to a Buddhist family. At the age of 2, he was recognized as a reincarnated lama by Ven. Diphuk Rinpoche, and further confirmed by the great Tibetan masters, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, His Holiness Penor Rinpoche and His Holiness Aachub Rinpoche. Tulku Jamyang spent many years in India studying the philosophy of Buddhism, and he studied in Tibet where he received advanced courses in meditation.

Tulku Jamyang is the author of "No Time for Complex Buddhism," and his lecture at the museum will focus on the basic understanding of Buddhism. The program begins at 2:00 PM and the admission is $15, which includes in Museum admission. The student/senior rate is $12.00.
