Join Thomas Kiedrowski, author of Andy Warhol's New York City (published by The Little Bookroom) and Catherine Johnson, author of Thank You Andy Warhol (Published by Glitterati Incorporated) for an engaging discussion as to why we are still so influenced by Warhol's life, his work and his wig. Also participating at this event will be Jamie Warhola (artist and Warhol's nephew) and Bibbe Hansen (artist and start of Warhol's film Prison) along with a few surprise guests. Catherine Johnson's book is comprised of collection of surprising interviews with a diverse group of people ranging from his early roommates from the 1950's to contemporary art superstars discussing Warhol's influence on their lives and their work. The interviewees include Liza Minnelli, George Lois, Ryan McGinness, Kenny Scharf, Simon Doonan, Jonas Mekas, Brigid Berlin, Billy Name, Peter Beard, Richard Prince and Ryan McGinness. Thomas Kiedrowski's book's brings to life the electrifying world of Andy Warhol, detailed richly with 80 New York sites and locations, bringing the factories, residences, clubs, museums, boutiques, and restaurants all into focus. The stories featuring the glamourous and gritty are all woven into a wonderful bio and reference for any Warhol fan. Andy Warhol's New York City: Four Walks, Uptown to Downtown is illustrated by Vito Giallo, Warhol's former studio assistant and antiques dealer.

A reception will follow the discussion.
