Come celebrate the rich and varied history of The Great White Way as The Town Hall kicks off the 13th season of its acclaimed BROADWAY BY THE YEAR series. Created, written, and hosted by author/critic Scott Siegel and featuring Broadway heavyweights Brian d'Arcy James, Tonya Pinkins, Elizabeth Stanley, Kevin Earley, and Carole J. Bufford, this show is sure to be a Smash! The season begins by exploring the shows of 1937, a year that witnessed the opening of the Golden Gate Bridge, the sudden death of George Gershwin, the Hindenburg disaster and a world on the brink of war. The evening will feature songs from: Babes in Arms (Rodgers & Hart), I'd Rather Be Right (Rodgers & Hart), Between the Devil (Dietz & Schwartz), Hooray For What! (Arlen & Harburg), and more!
