The United War Veterans Council invites veterans, families and friends to reunite at Vietnam Veterans Recognition Day, Saturday, March 24, 12:00 Noon at the Vietnam Memorial Plaza, 55 Water Street by South Street and the East River, Manhattan. The ceremony will honor New Yorkers lost during the Vietnam War and since September 11th, 2001. Vietnam Medal of Honor Recipient Paul Bucha, Vietnam Veterans of America National President John Rowan and hundreds in attendance will share their message of sacrifice and recognition to Gold Star Family Members—families who have lost a member during service.
