Join Beekeeper Urte Schaedle as she introduces the process of honey harvesting and the lifecycle of bees. There will be a honey harvesting demonstration and the public is invited to make some bee-inspired art, experience the different tastes of honey, and enjoy our special house punch made with the Voelker Orth garden grapes.

In addition to the demonstration, there will be activities that encompass the spirit of beekeeping. Join us for the “waggle dance” and other fun activities. Admission is $6, $5 members, and children $3. Infants and toddlers under 3 are admitted free. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Groups are advised to call ahead to be accommodated.

Freshly harvested bottles of honey will be on sale for $8. All funds go towards the museum’s educational programs.
