There’s a hidden world after dark in Brooklyn. A place full of bustling bars, hopping nightlife, and stories of passion, intrigue and handcrafted liquor poured by seasoned pros. A snapshot from the 1920’s, you ask? Nope, it’s all happening right now. Here at Brooklyn Gin, we want to show you the sights, sounds and tastes of the Brooklyn cocktail scene.

Here’s the scoop: on our SideTour, we’ll hop into three of the most vibrant and exciting bars in Williamsburg, the center of NYC’s craft-distilling culture. At each location, we’ll meet a dynamic, seasoned bartender who will mix up an ingenious gin cocktail of his or her choosing. They’ll also regale us with the wild stories behind each of the drinks. (Did you know that the Bronx Cocktail was named after the exotic beasts of the Bronx Zoo? Or that the Vesper Martini was invented by none other than fictional secret agent James Bond? And those are just the tip of the iceberg.) At every stop, you’ll be treated to the finest craft-distilled spirits the five boroughs have to offer. We’re talking freshly peeled citrus fruits and hand-cracked juniper berries made into first-class liquor by the Brooklyn Gin brewing team. Trust me: one sip of these cocktails and you’ll know it ain’t your grandpa’s gin and tonic. Take those tastes, throw in some offbeat stories, and top it off with a pub crawl through the city’s number one bar scene. It’ll be a night you’re not likely to forget, no matter how many cocktails you down.
