With a sound that fuses the buoyant pop of Robyn and Niki & the Dove, the vintage soul of Prince, and the sentimentality of Rufus Wainwright, Charlene Kaye is a force whose music is at once classic and contemporary, of the times yet unmistakably timeless. With a rapidly growing fan base and more touring on the horizon, Kaye shows no signs of slowing down, picking up steam even before she leaves the ground.
Alexz Johnson is never quite what you'd think: she is always, instead, a surprise. While she writes intimate, down-to-earth lyrics, they're delivered with a larger-than-life, crystalline voice. Currently Alexz is about to independently release the Skipping Stone EP, a five-song taste of the new music she has been writing in LA and Nashville, where she meets up to collaborate and record with singer-songwriter Jimmy Robbins.
Jay Stolar is a soul singer with an arsenal of heart gripping songs. His live performances hark back to the early days of R&B, when it was an artist's job to connect to every person in the room. He is a deeply influential player in the New York City music scene.
In 2012 Jay ran a 24 week residency at Rockwood Music Hall in NYC, showcased at both SXSW and CMJ, toured nationally with singer-songwriter Charlene Kaye, placed his song "Like You Do" on The CW Network's 90210, and completed production on his debut album.
A New Mexico native, Boyce began her career as the keyboardist for The Naked Brothers Band, appearing with them on The View and the Today Show. She has also accompanied Tim Williams on tour and at performances at SXSW and Sundance Film Festival, and Ingrid Michaelson at her Holiday Hop and on the Kelly Ripa show. After studying jazz piano at the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, Boyce moved to New York to pursue her own sound. With influences ranging from Tori Amos to Radiohead to Miles Davis, Boyce writes all of her own music.
