The duo of Jeremy Barnes (formerly of Neutral Milk Hotel) and Heather Trost, known as A Hawk and A Hacksaw, perform traditional and original music steeped in Eastern European folk traditions. Their new album, You Have Already Gone to Another World, is music inspired by Russian filmmaker Sergey Paradjanov's haunting, 1964 film Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors. The Atrium performance marks the New York concert premiere of the album's music, and it will be performed to a screening of the Paradjanov film.
