As she publishes her new collection of poetry, The World Will Follow Joy, and a new book of meditations The Cushion in the Road, join Pulitzer prize writer Alice Walker at 92nd Street Y for an inspiring discussion with V-Day founder Eve Ensler about her activism and her writing, her conflicting impulses to retreat into inner contemplation and to remain deeply engaged with the world. Eve Ensler is a Tony award winning playwright, performer and activist. She is the award-winning author of The Vagina Monologues. Eve's newest work is a memoir, In the Body of the World. Both will sign copies of their books following the event.
