Brooks has never participated in a film biography before, but he agreed to do it for the PBS show "American Masters." 92Y is presenting the first New York screening of this new documentary and, to celebrate Joy Behar will interview Mel Brooks (by satellite – he will be in Los Angeles). Joining the conversation in New York will be Susan Stroman, director of the hit Broadway musical of The Producers and Robert Trachtenberg, the director of the PBS biography.
