Norma Marshall Memorial Lecture: Senga Nengudi, a leading performance artist since the 1970s, speaks in the first of a series of annual lectures on topics related to women in the arts, named for a former President of the Museum's Community Committee. Gallery talks on some of Marshall's and Nengudi's favorite works in the Museum's collection precede the lecture from 6 to 6:45, and a reception will follow at 8:30.
Venue Description: Open Wed., Fri.-Sun., 11am-6pm; Thurs., 11am-10pm; First Saturday of each month (except September), 5-11pm. $12; $8, students and seniors (62 & over). Under 19, free (as of 9/3/2014).
