Ginjo-shu refers to super-premium sake, but just how is it different? At Japan Society's annual sake tasting event, sake expert John Gauntner explores ginjo-shu and what distinguishes it from regular sake, how it is made, and its history and tradition. Admission includes a post-lecture sake-tasting reception with more than 30 kinds of premium sake and entrance to Japan Society Gallery's Edo Pop: The Graphic Impact of Japanese Prints.

Venue Description: Tues.-Thurs., 11am-6pm; Fri., 11am-9pm; Sat. & Sun., 11am-5pm. Closed on Mon. & major holidays.
